Arizona Deserts National Parks Partnership
Vision
The National Parks sites and programs in central and southern Arizona are thriving and resilient and enjoy broad public awareness and support.
Mission
The Arizona Deserts National Parks Partnership enhances capacity building and public awareness of the Desert Parks.
Who We Are
The Arizona Deserts National Parks Partnership (ADNPP) is a 501(c)(3) corporation established to support units of the National Park Service in central and southern Arizona that, due to geographic isolation and a lack of local population density, have had limited success in attracting dedicated Friends Groups. Friends Groups have a long and successful history of supplementing park resources and building stronger relationships with gateway communities and tribal partners.
Who We Support
The National Park Service Units Supported by ADNPP Include:
Casa Grande Ruins National Monument (in coordination with Friends of Casa Grande Ruins)
ADNPP coordinates closely with the NPS Southern Arizona Office and the Sonoran Desert Network that both serve all the supported park units. Saguaro National Park is an additional partner park but has a different level of engagement because they have a strong existing dedicated friends group: Friends of Saguaro National Park.
